Refund Policy + Data Retention Policy (RavenLedger)
Effective Date: March 11, 2026
Operator: RavenLedger
Contact: support@ravenledger.com
This policy forms part of the RavenLedger Terms of Service.
1) Billing and Plan
RavenLedger is billed in advance through Paddle, which acts as merchant of record for purchases processed through its checkout.
- USD 20/month for up to 500 GB database storage per tenant
- USD 0.05 per GB/month for usage above 500 GB
2) Trials, Promotions, and Discounts
RavenLedger may offer trials, promotions, or discount codes. Paid billing starts automatically when eligible trial/promo periods end unless canceled beforehand.
3) Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Paddle customer portal or the subscription management link provided in your order email. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid billing period.
4) Refund Policy
Customers may request a refund within fourteen (14) days of the initial purchase date. Canceling a subscription stops future renewals and does not automatically entitle a customer to a refund for any unused portion of the current billing period. For purchases processed through Paddle, Paddle acts as merchant of record, and refund requests will be handled in accordance with Paddle's applicable policies and any mandatory rights under applicable law.
5) Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
For help with a transaction, subscription, cancellation, or refund request, please contact support@ravenledger.com. For purchases processed through Paddle, buyers may also be able to manage subscriptions, look up transactions, or request refunds through paddle.net and through links included in Paddle purchase communications.
6) Failed Payments
If payment fails, billing may be retried through Paddle and its subscription recovery processes. Continued non-payment may result in restricted or suspended access.
7) Data Ownership
You retain ownership of your data. RavenLedger processes data only to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service, and to comply with law.
8) Data Retention and Access Lifecycle
- Active Until Paid Period End: If canceled, paused, or expired, access remains active until the paid period end date (if any).
- Read-Only Grace Period: After paid period end, account enters a 7-day read-only period. Users can view data but cannot create, update, or delete records.
- Blocked State: After grace, the tenant is marked blocked and access is restricted.
- Retention Period: When blocked due to subscription status, the tenant enters retention for 90 days from blocked date.
- Reactivation Before Deletion: If active subscription is restored before deletion date, deletion is skipped and access can be restored.
- Permanent Deletion: After 90-day retention, tenant data may be permanently deleted and may not be recoverable.
9) Customer Export Responsibility
You are responsible for exporting records needed before cancellation and before retention periods expire.
10) Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Updated versions become effective when posted with a revised effective date.
